This is a lamp lantern not candle holder so it cant be used as candle holder. Please read below for details and flaws to this lamp. The lamp is very heavy and quality made, weighs a hefty 12 pounds. Composed of solid copper/ brass except for the hanging chains and hook which are magnetic metal, but the canopy is brass. There are no writing or marking that we can see. There are overall patina/weathering to the brass. All of the glass panels are in good shape except one panel seems to be broken from one side. One of the rod bars is detached from the lower brass board sheet (marked X1 inphoto # 8 & 9). The board that is attached to the lower dome is quite bent (marked X2 in photo # 9). Lantern seems to be missing ornate peg at the lower dome (marked X3 in photo # 10). Ornate peg at the top dome is bent (marked X4 in photo # 11). Lower dome seems to have a split (marked X5 in photo # 10)Please make sure to enlarge photos to see. Please note this lamp is not electrical wired. Also it cant be used as candle holder..
