Victorian black and gold painted folding peacock fan brass fire screen with griffin base to the front and back. In full working order. This piece has been totally refurbished and painted with the base in gold and central strut and the peacock fans in black. This makes quite a striking retro fire screen. The fastening hooks are missing from either side but as can be seen from the photographs the piece stands very straight. Vintage folding peacock fireplace screen. Ornate griffin to the base at the front and back. Fan panels easily fold in and out for storage/use. Stands 25.25 tall. Folds out to 37.5 total width. Folds up to 7.75 overall width. In full working order and folds easily to stand upright with fans closed. This has signs of wear from age, storage and normal use. Very good vintage overall condition.
