Title: Antique Vtg 18k Yellow Gold Ornate French Pocket Watch Chain Long 27.5 Inch Description: Although this piece was originally used as a pocket watch chain it could very easily be converted into a stunning necklace. At first glance this piece could easily be mistaken for a Cartier logo, but alas the hallmark (which is unknown to us) says otherwise. From end to end the chain measures 27.5 inches long, each link is 9.7mm East to West and 5.3mm North to South. There are no clasps or closures – it was unknown what happened to them, the chain was in a safety deposit box along with pocket watch (not included) One end has a French maker mark of G and F or P possibly and what looks like a giraffe’s head in the center – please see pictures.
