A Vintage Mid 20th Century French Ornate Vintage Table Lamp. The lamp is made from very heavy thick cast, turned & pressed Brass with brass fittings and a tapering ornate column. The brass has a polished raw finish that has varying patinas and tarnished surfaces. The base is large, stable and round with three raised feet and a swept ornate design. At the top the lamp has a Chandelier style cut brass dish with 5 large hanging cut glass droplets. The lamp was found with old wiring, it has been rebuilt with new modern safety components including a cord grip under the base. The lamp is well made, very heavy and stable. The lamp has an Antique design. Please see my images for the best description. Please note the lamp shade shown is NOT INCLUDED Overall height is 40 Cm – The base is 16 Cm in diameter Condition is very good for age…….. Important points to note…….. The lamp has only very minor marks from use and age – The finish is tarnished across the various Brass sections and the lamp has an aged patina which adds to the Antique effect. The lamp is free of damage. Good earthed wiring is fitted as is good modern cable protection – The lamp works well. Fitted with a new earthed switched Brass BC Bulb Holder.
