Here we have a wonderful, grand antique gilt spelter table lamp base. This is a quality piece, unknown maker but marked 5997 to the base, it just has to be French given its style. It has lots of ornate details showing rose bouquets, swag ribbons, floral rosettes, acanthus leaf decoration within the reeded column. It measures approximately 22.5 inches tall by 6.5 inches and comes with just over 1.5m of cable weighing just under 2.75 kgs.
