Large Vintage European Wooden Dough Trough On Ornate Iron Stand. Large old European dough trough on a delightful wrought iron stand. The handmade dough trough itself is solid but it does have signs of old wood worm which has been treated. It also has some damage to one of the side lips (as shown in the photo) but given it’s age and use I would consider this to be minor. We have lightly sanded and given it 4 coats of linseed oil to help preserve the wood, but it would benefit from more over time. The wrought iron stand is in great condition with a lovely aged, rustic patination to it. It measures 135cm x 47cm wide and 83cm high. Collection from Wymeswold, Nr Loughborough.
