Vintage 1965 9ct Yellow Gold Ornate Engraved Love Heart Locket Pendant Necklace. An exceptionally lovely 9ct yellow gold vintage locket in a sentimental love heart shape. The face of the locket is adorned with ornated engraved flourishing swirls, and the rest of the locket is plain, polished smooth. A medium sized locket – ideal for daily wear. The locket hinges open from the right side, and inside the locket there is space to put 2 small photos inside. The original blue backing paper, plastic perspex covers, and two golden frames are still inside. Size: The locket measures 2 cms tall without the bails, 2.6 cms with the bail loops. 1.8 cms wide. Weighs 2.8 grams (pendant alone). Hallmarks: 9ct Gold, Birmingham, 1965. S’, which could be the mark for’Nathan Brothers. It comes with the dainty contemporary 9ct gold fine curb chain as pictured, which is 16 long. The chain is stamped 375 on the bail loop. In very good condition, with some light wear and faint surface scratches, as to be expected from any vintage item. There is light wear to the bail loop. This locket has been professionally cleaned and polished, it’s ready to wear or to give as a gift. Please see the photos.
